Soldiers Lead Sanitation Exercise in Lagos

The Nigerian Army of the 81 Division Garrison led an environmental sanitation exercise within Obalende and its environs in Lagos State to mark this year’s Nigerian Army Day Celebration (NADCEL).

The sanitation, led by the Commander 81 Division Garrison, Brigadier General Nasiru Nagidada, started from Dodan barracks to Mammy market through to some streets in the Obalende area.

Nagidada assured residents that the Nigerian Army is always ready to sacrifice anything to create an atmosphere of cordial civil-military relations. 

He expressed also that the force cherished its relationship with the civilian populace and would do anything to make it hospitable and complimentary.

Its personnel were equipped with tools like shovels, rakes, hand gloves, rain boots, and wheelbarrows among others.
