World’s Richest Man, Elon Musk, Says He Doesn’t Own A Home Right Now

The world’s richest person, Elon Musk, Monday says he doesn’t own a home right now and crashes around friends’ spare rooms.

He revealed this in a video interview with Chris Anderson, head of conference organisers TED, on Monday.

Musk also mentioned that he doesn’t own yachts or take vacations but has a plane to save time.

He said this in reaction to a comment about how many people criticise billionaires for their wealth.

“If I travel to the Bay Area, which is where most of Tesla’s engineering is, I basically rotate through friends’ spare bedrooms,” says Musk.

With an estimated net worth of $251 billion, Musk told Anderson, “For sure, it would be very problematic if I was spending billions of dollars a year in personal consumption, but that is not the case.”

Although he admitted that he neither owns a yacht nor really take vacations, the entrepreneur confirmed that he hasva personal jet.

“It’s not as though my personal consumption is high. I mean, the one exception is the plane, but if I don’t use the plane then I have less hours to work. My net wealth is nonetheless bonkers,” he conceded.
