2023 Presidency: Yahaya Bello Obtains APC Nomination Form N100m

Ahead of the 2023 All Progressives Congress’ primary elections, Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, has obtained the nomination form for the presidency for N100 million.

Bello paid the required N100 million for the expression of interest and nomination forms on Tuesday then went to the National Secretariat on Wednesday to officially pick it up. 

He was among the first presidential aspirants to have purchased the APC form since the party commenced selling to interested members.

The governor Thursday presented his forms to the President, Muhammadu Buhari, at the Presidential Villa in respect to the president.

This was maintained in a statement by the Media Directorate of the Hope 23 Yahaya Bello Campaign Council disclosed. 

“The Kogi State Governor in his usual practice presented his expression of interest and nomination forms for the 2023 Presidential election.

“This is to his political father and leader of the nation President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House, Abuja,” it stated. 

According to the statement, Bello received the president’s blessings for the 2023 presidential election.
