Buhari Travels to UAE on Condolence Visit to New President 

The President, Muhammadu Buhari, Thursday, travelled to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on a condolence visit to the new President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. 

The president’s Spokesman, Garba Shehu, disclosed this in a statement in Abuja, noting that the visit is to convey his sympathy on the passing of the former President and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. 

“Buhari will also extend his congratulations to the new president, renewing bonds of the longstanding friendship between Nigeria and the UAE,” the statement read in part.
