Tanker Explosion Rocks Ogun State, Razes 10 Buildings

A tanker laden with about 45,000 litres of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), Saturday, crashed and exploded at 7 am at Olambe Matogun road, Ifo LGA Ogun State.

The tanker was said to have exploded after spilling its content, leaving 10 buildings razed.

While no lives were lost or anyone sustained an injury, about 10 buildings were consumed in the incident. 

The situation was mitigated with most of the content spilling into the canal close to the scene, thereby saving the community from serious incidents that could have affected people.

Ogun State Fire Service are on ground and The fire has been put out.
