The former Senate President and Presidential hopeful on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr. Bukola Saraki, has pledged that if elected as the next president of the nation, Nigerians won’t pay for medical services.
Saraki made this promise on Sunday during his meeting with the former governor of Kaduna State, Senator Anmed Makari, delegates, and other stakeholders in Kaduna ahead of the party’s primary billed for this month.
The presidential hopeful alongside his entourage arrived at the party’s secretariat at old NDA, Ungwan-Shanu, in Kaduna at 2pm or thereabouts. It was to address the delegates and other party officials.
According to Saraki, he was in the state to canvass for votes and formally intimate them of his intent to vie for the 2023 presidency.
He also mentioned that his visit was also to seek their support. This is as he hinted on the significance of the state in the social, economic, and political affairs of the country.
