BBN Announces Audition For Season 7

Reality TV show, Big Brother Naija, has called for auditions for its Season 7.

The show, which is powered by MultiChoice, will close auditions on Monday May 30 this year. 

This year, according to Multichoice, BBN will host over 20 contestants for 71 days to battle for a grand prize of N85 million.

As noted in a media statement issued Sunday, “Biggie is calling you back home BBNaija Season 7 auditions are officially open.

“Are you the next Efe, Miracle, Mercy, Laycon or Whitemoney? This is your time to show Biggie what you’re all about, audition here: africamagic.tv/bbaudition Audition now!”

Interested participants are expected to record a two-minute video of themselves stating why they should be picked to be a BBNaija season seven housemate.

The show started in 2006 with Katung Aduwak emerging as the winner but it later went on an 11-year break before the next season.

Speaking on the development, the Chief Executive Officer of MultiChoice Nigeria, John Ugbe said, “We are set to make history once again with the seventh season of a show that is widely regarded as Africa’s biggest entertainment showcase and a major socio-economic driver in Nigeria. 

“This season promises to top previous seasons in terms of production values, entertainment content and economic impact.”

Every edition comes with a theme. The first season’s theme was “BBN”, Second and the third season was “See Gobe“ and “Double Wahala”, fourth season; “Pepper Dem’, the fifth season was “Lockdown Edition”, and the sixth season was “Shine Ya Eyes”.

The theme for this year’s season is yet to be unveiled.
